Finally TextureMind Framework has a new GUI system with modern aspect. The older GUI had very old origins. The first version was created in 2006, attempting to replicate the visual style of Windows XP. It has been maintained over the years, but even though the current framework itself has a modern look, many aspects of the graphical interface remained anchored to the old design. For this reason, I decided to refactor the entire GUI system, for making it fast and modern.

As you can see from the screenshot, now the GUI has a modern aspect based on flat rounded shapes with dark and light themes and new flat icons. The GUI is also faster than before, it can run with CPU and GPU rendering, the list views are about 8 times faster than before and it’s totally vector graphics. The old gray XP style GUI is now a memory of the past. What you see in the screen is the GUI Editor, but all the applications developed with the framework will benefit from the new GUI, including TMD. The GUI will be used in the future to create poweful applications for modeling, designing, drawing, creating videos, and prototyping new applications.
